What is the Stynes Address?
The Stynes Address is an annual high-profile lecture organised by the Society of Construction Law Australia (SoCLA). It is designed to challenge industry views and norms within the construction law sector. Each year, a distinguished speaker is selected to present a thought-provoking lecture that aims to shift the conversation and inspire new perspectives.
The inaugural Stynes Address was delivered in 2023 by The Honourable Justice Katie Stynes, after whom the address is named. The event has since become a significant occasion for professionals in the construction law industry to gather, learn, and network.
