Thank You to our 2024 Mentoring Program Participants
Thank you to everyone who participated in yet another very successful year for the SoCLA Mentoring Program. We have been delighted to see the effort put into building and maintaining strong mentoring relationships.
Let's do it all again in 2025!
Here are some examples of the comments we have received throughout the year:
"[My mentor] has been a wonderful mentor and guide for me this year. I am very grateful for the input and suggestions she has given me during our meetings. She is also very open to sharing her own experiences in the legal practice and the professional world more generally which has been quite helpful to learn from given the breadth of her experience and the fact that I am still learning about corporate Australia as a migrant."
"I really enjoyed my time as a mentee and my mentor has been fantastic."
"It is very clear that a lot of thought has gone into the pairing process. [My mentor] aligns perfectly with my preferences. Thank you for organising. It has been an incredible experience so far and I am very grateful."
"The process has been great and the commitment not too onerous. I've found it very rewarding and really enjoyed the journey. I think the program is great and well run."
A special thank you is extended to our wonderful mentors who have given their time and expertise so generously. Your support has ensured we could match all mentees again this year.

If you have 5 years or more post-grad experience, you can!
Demand for the program has grown considerably over the past few years with increasing interest at all levels, from students to senior professionals looking for Mentors.
We are always in need of Mentors and you can be both Mentor and Mentee at any time. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Lou if you would like more information.
