Melbourne: Quantifying Loss Caused by Disruption

The Society is pleased to announce a presentation on ‘Quantifying Loss Caused by Disruption - Why use the Measured Mile? It rarely reflects reality and is usually inapplicable’ to be presented by Robert Gemmell of Aquenta Consulting and Andrew Stephenson of Corrs Chambers Westgarth, with the introduction to be given by The Honourable Justice Vickery, Judge-in-charge of the Technology, Engineering and Construction List, Supreme Court of Victoria. Robert will present on when and why the measured mile method is often inapplicable, and, as an alternative, how to use the baseline productivity method and Andrew will present on the legal issues relating to disruption claims on construction projects. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, 27 July 2016 from 6:00pm (registration to commence from 5.45pm). It will be hosted by Herbert Smith Freehills at Level 42,  101 Collins St Melbourne.
