Christmas Function - Melbourne - 2 December
The Society's Christmas funcion in Melbourne promises to be an interesting event.
Our Patron, the Honourable Justice Peter Vickery, Dave Andrews and Matthew Bell will shar with us their Christmas wish for the construciton industry.
There will also be a short presentation by the authors of two recently published books of interest to members.

To open the evening, the following speakers will each discuss their ‘Christmas Wishes’ for the construction industry:
The Honourable Justice Peter Vickery; Dave Andrews (Director at Tracey Brunstrom and Hammond); andMatthew Bell (Senior Lecturer at The University of Melbourne)
This will be followed by a brief presentation by the authors of the following recently released seminal texts in the area of construction:
Security of Payment in New South Wales and Victoria; andBrooking on Building Contracts (5th edition).
Following these presentations, the Society's members are invited to remain and enjoy the commencement of the festive season with their fellow SoCLA members.
