SoCLA's Young Constructors Committee and Consult Australia's FutureNet are presenting a panel event on 9 May 2018.  It will provide in-depth insights into the current state and future of pro bono work streams in the engineering and legal sectors. The panel includes senior members of the engineering profession who are building capacity in the industry's Engineering Without Borders Australia program and the Pro Bono Engineering Community of Practice.  In addition, experienced and influential members of the legal community, including the Commissioner and CEO of the Legal Services Board and the Manager of Justice Connect's Domestic Building Legal Service, will provide insights into the development, maintenance and operation of pro bono systems and policies that have implemented by the legal industry.  The guest panellists are: Fiona McLeay  |  Commissioner and CEO, Victorian Legal Services Board Ashlea Hawkins  |  Manager, Justice Connect (Domestic Building Legal Service) Jonathan Hesselberg  |  Senior Project Manager, AECOM Clair Millar  |  Manager, GHD Capacity is restricted to the first 40 registrations.  Membership with the SoCLA is not required.  We welcome all who want to attend this exciting event.
