See you in Brazil - 6th SCL international Biennial Conference - 13-15 September 2016

The Society of Construction Law Australia (SoCLA) is pleased to announce that Australia is taking an active role in Brazil at the Sixth International Society of Construction Law Biennial Conference being held on 13_êâ15 September 2016. SoCLA is sponsoring the Academic Forum and SoCLA members, in particular, Matthew Bell, are leading the Forum.  This demonstrates the pre-eminence of Australia in the teaching practice of construction law. SoCLA’s Patron, His Honour Justice Vickery, will be a speaker and a panellist. SoCLA members are encouraged to attend the conference in Brazil, which will include speakers from five continents.  The preliminary information is available on the website:  http://www.scl2016.com/the-scl-brazil Please note that NO VISA will be required to Australians, Japanese, Canadians or Americans between June 1st and September 18th, 2016, as follows: "American, Australian, Canadian and Japanese nationals going to Brazil exclusively for tourism activities, entering Brazil between June 1st and September 18th, 2016, will be eligible for a 90 day, non-extendable, unilateral visa waiver counted from the first entry within that period. It will not be necessary to have a ticket for an official game to benefit from this waiver."   We hope to see you there!
