The Stynes' Address

The Stynes' Address will be an annual high-profile lecture related to the practice of law and the construction industry.

This event is sold out and registrations have closed.

Each year, a speaker will be selected by SoCLA to present a thought-provoking lecture to the construction industry,  the kind of speech that will challenge industry views and norms and shift the conversation.

In this, our inaugural year, our speaker is the person after whom the address has been named, Justice Katie Stynes.  Justice Stynes was appointed as SoCLA’s patron in 2023 and it is only fitting that the first address is hers.

The lecture will also be preceded by the public announcement of the Brooking Prize winners!

This year’s venue for the address is the iconic State Library of Victoria.

(Entrance 3, 179 La Trobe Street, Melbourne - see flyer below)

A discount of $50.00 per ticket applies if you are a SoCLA member (don’t forget to be logged in) or if you buy a bundle of 5 tickets.
