End of year XMAS networking event - Developing the project procurement and delivery strategy – leave your preconceptions at the door!

Christmas Networking Event! Presented by Kay Salvair Smith of Fusion Advisory Hosted by TBH

Say farewell to the old year with SOCLA’s special Sydney XMAS networking event!

How is the appropriate form of contract and the strategy for an appropriate procurement approach determined?   Rightly so, there is a lot of focus and discussion on the various Forms of Contract that are currently in use to address the risks and issues on current and emerging projects.

Commencing way ahead of contract drafting is the significant and critical task of getting the procurement and delivery strategy well-considered and developed to ensure the approach to procurement achieves effective risk allocation, mitigation and opportunity ownership; timeframes and budget constraints; appropriate stakeholder engagement; effective opportunities that allow industry to respond and deliver value in the current environment; and the achievement of the desired project outcomes.

This session will start off with a brief presentation by Kay Salvair Smith on the development of procurement and delivery strategy, giving insights into ways to approach and facilitate the development of well-considered strategy and the important issues to consider prior to settling on the Form(s) of Contract.

This event will conclude with special networking drinks. Limited numbers so register early to avoid missing the fun.
