Urgent discussion group in Perth on the WA Construction Contracts Act Amendment Bill 2016

The State of WA will be amending the adjudication system in WA in line with the Construction Contracts Act Amendment Bill 2016. It is believed that this will come into effect on 15 December 2016.

SoCLA will be holding an urgent discussion in Perth on the proposed amendments with a view to considering whether comments should be presented to the Minister as a matter of urgency. It is hoped that a group of members based in Perth will be willing to participate in the discussion. Members of the Construction and Infrastructure Law Committees of the WA Law Society and Law Council will also be invited to the discussion forum.
