Victorian and Tasmanian members are alerted to a new award which is 'up for grabs' in the 2016 National Association of Women in Construction Awards – the MinterEllison NAWIC award for an Outstanding Construction Lawyer.

This award recognises the achievement of a woman who is a lawyer practising in the construction, building and infrastructure and/or 'PPP' fields of law, whether in a law firm or for a construction industry organisation.  The full criteria for the award and information about applying is here.

If you also hold a NAWIC membership and are interested in applying, we encourage you to do so.  Alternatively, if you know a worthy NAWIC member candidate, we encourage you to nominate her for this award.

The date for submitting applications and nominations has been extended to 1 July 2016.  Good luck!
