Building Equality Through Procurement: inclusive careers in the construction industry

Please join us for a panel discussion and Q&A session regarding inclusive careers in the construction industry.

From 1 January 2022 the Victorian Government implemented a policy designed to facilitate and improve, in practical ways, diversity and inclusion on high-value infrastructure projects.  The “Building Equality Through Procurement” policy seeks to disrupt the existing gender stereotypes, norms and roles in the construction sector.

Our panel will discuss their career journeys, including challenges, successes and the value of mentoring, in light of the aims of the Building Equality Through Procurement Policy.  In-person networking following the discussion will allow attendees to discuss these important issues.
