This fourth report in The Warren Centre’s Professionalisation of Fire Safety Engineering research series was issued as an interim version in late 2019 to be updated and synchronised alongside Report 5, the Competencies Report issued 02 June 2020.
The Roles Report presents comprehensive descriptions for the future roles of design FSEs, FSEs acting as peer reviewers, and FSEs working within fire authorities. This work establishes a foundation with clearer definitions of roles and responsibilities for a holistic approach to fire safety engineering on building projects. It can be downloaded here.
