The focus of the Academic sub-committee is all academic features the Society wishes to promote to its members. It will be required to liaise with academic institutions (students and the institution itself) in promoting and encouraging research activities in the construction industry. This sub-committee will also be responsible for the annual essay prize which will be launched at the end September each year with the prize being awarded at the annual conference in May/June each year.
